Our Founder

Meet Our Founder

For over 50 years, we have faithfully served our families with the belief that every loved one entrusted to our care deserves the highest respect and dignity. We cherish your trust and confidence and are committed to serving you with the utmost professionalism and compassion.

A Family Legacy:

Reverend Floyd A. Williams and his wife, Cynthia Lopes-Holbert, established the Floyd A. Williams Funeral Home, Inc., on February 28, 1974. They stepped out on faith, guided by the belief that "all things are possible through our faith in God and our constant prayer; however, prayer without work is dead." The Williams family includes their four children: Tracey (Troy) Wilson, Deborah Williams, Sean (Nicole) Williams, and Dahria Williams-Fernandes (John). Their legacy continues through their grandchildren, Malika, Troy, Marques, Myles, Floyd Ashton, Deja, DeJohn, Javon, Naimah, and Alyanna, and great-grandchildren, Malik, Myles, and Issadora.

To honor this commitment, we place our entire caring and well-trained staff at your service. Our facilities are maintained to provide comfort for the families we serve. We are dedicated to helping you select arrangements that meet your needs perfectly and welcome your thoughts and wishes.

We offer information to our community at no charge and without obligation so that all consumers can make informed decisions when arranging funerals. In compliance with Federal Trade Commission rules, we provide an itemized general price list to all inquiries about funeral arrangements.

The goods and services listed on our website reflect what we offer to our families. You may choose only the items that suit your needs. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include the charge for our basic services. If legal or other requirements necessitate the purchase of items not specifically requested, we will provide a written description of each item on the billing statement.

We hope the information we provide helps you fully understand the cost of any services you may desire. Our goal is to help you choose arrangements that perfectly suit your needs.

Respectfully,

Reverend Floyd A. Williams III
