Rakeem Akile Austin Jr. was born to Rakeem Austin Sr. And Toneika Jones on August 23rd 2005 in Boston, Massachusetts. Rakeem loved his mother Toneika to the moon and back and she felt the same. As him being a Junior. Rakeem often talk about his father and they had a loving father- son relationship. Rakeem often looked to his father for guidance. When Rakeem was born he had the biggest brightest eyes and a beautiful smile that followed him through life. A smile so stunning and contagious that you couldn’t refuse to smile back at him. Rakeem Attended Madison Park High School where he got into HVAC and was working through Co-Op for Northern Eastern. Rakeem loved his vocation and was very dedicated to it. His’ dream was to open his own bussiness in HVAC to be successful enough to take care of his family. While attending Madison Rakeem infectious loving easy going personality transfer to his friends and teacher creating such loving and family-like bond thus giving him the nickname “cuddy” because he truly treated and loved everyone that surrounded him like family. Rakeem had great amount of respect and love for his teachers, the staff and his colleagues through Co-Op and Madison. He had a good relationship with all of them. They presented with many opportunities, different ways of thinking and paths for him. Growing up Rakeem was surrounded by all of his family members that he made laugh and feel good with his presence. He had a special bond with each and everyone of them individually. He loved kids. Always was so playful and loving in his interaction with them. Rakeem valued and loved his younger siblings Kymahni, Theo, Dakya, and Dakeem always being around them wanting to spend quality time to express his brotherly love. He navigated his way through life with his bestfriend and twin Rakeyma. Always side by side. You rarely seen one without the other. Raneika, his loving older sister who he confided in and also loved and adored very much. Rakeem loved his grandparents( James, Virginia,and Wanda) and they reciprocated that same love to him. He also has a host of aunts, uncles and cousin that surround and loved him. They will truly miss him. Rakeem loved riding bikes, mopeds was his preference. He could ride with them best of them he was often leading the pack. Forever keeping his wheel up showing cutting up on the streets showing what he can do. Rakeem preceded in death by mother Toneika Jones, his maternal great grandmother Ammie Jones ,great-grandfather Joseph Jones and his uncle Danny. Also, on his paternal side he preceded by his grandfather Glen Bell, great-grandfather William Bell, his uncles Kevin and Isaiah, and his cousins Derianna and Khysir. He will be dearly missed by his father Rakeem Austin, grandparents Virgina, Wanda(Henry) and James, his great grandmothers Willemae Austin, Jessica Brown, Shirley Bell, and a host of family and friends
