Junita Walsh was born in Clarendon, Jamaica, on December 10th, 1976, to Jose Walsh and Alberga Walsh. Junita, or Shua as she was affectionately known to family and friends, lived in Jamaica for four short years; the small trio of a newly formed family made their way across the seas to explore a whole new world in America. Although Shua was already filled with a ton of personality, her new life gave her new eyes and a brighter smile. In America, she grew up with so much family and love; she attended school and church, and Shua was destined to touch the hearts of many. Shua grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, with her three siblings: Jedaiah (Jedy), Nathan, Ableyne (Perxii), and a variety of cousins who adore her.
Shua accepted all life's lessons and went exploring and learning more along her journey. Spiritually inclined and articulately engaging with the masses. Just like her father, she had the gift of the gab and a witty sense of humor. Like her mother, she was beautiful, loving, and kind.
Shua attended and graduated from English High School, and she then went on to become a business owner and a daycare teacher. Shua was intrigued by business and investments. She learned what she could to share the information with those around her. Shua was very passionate about being a teacher; she was committed to teaching young children and devoted herself to working with kids to ensure she made a positive difference in their lives.
Shua is survived by her four wonderful, beautiful children: Anthony (True), Shiloh (ShiShi), Samaria, and Skylar, whom she loved more than anything. Shua will always be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and commitment to family. Shua enjoyed cooking and entertaining her friends and family, her love for family was evident in how she lived. She had the ability to reach people in a positive way, especially during tough times. We will always love you, so rest in Paradise, our strong Queen, lovely sister, beautiful mother, and cherished daughter.
