Kayen “Poochie” Nesbeth, has taken flight at the call of our Heavenly Father to another home prepared by an all-wise, all-knowing, just and loving God. She entered into eternal grace on January 29, 2022, at the age of 37.
On August 26, 1984, Kayen was born in Kingson, Jamaica to Steve Nesbeth and Maxine Thomas. Kayen attended Jeremiah E. Burke High School and graduated in 2002. She also attended the Bunker Community College where she received in 2013 a special recognition in outstanding performance and participation in service-learning for “Parents as First Teachers.” Since Kayen enjoyed working with children, she was employed with the ABCD Summer Works Employment Program as a Research Assistant in 2004. And, then for some time, she was employed with the Cambridge Family Services as an Office Assistant.
Kayen was a loving and compassionate person and with that same affection and concern, she was a wonderful help to her mother. Most of all, she loved and adored her children, they were her world. Some interests that fascinated Kayen were baby photography and community outreach. Kayen was informative of community outreach events and shared the information with others especially when resources were available.
Kayen leaves to cherish her memories: her parents; Maxine Thomas, Tony Wilson (special friend), and Steve Nesbeth; her children, Dayshawn Vick, D’vente Vick, Jozyah Nesbeth, Izayah Basile, and Zaryyah Basile; Special Friend Emmanuel Basile, Siblings; Omar Nesbeth, and Jason Wilson; Grandparents; Rupert & Vera Thomas and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Kayen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
