Roodny Lubin was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He left this world suddenly on August 2, 2021 at the age of 38, but his legacy will live on in our hearts forever.
He was born to Jean Claude and Lucienne Lubin in Port au Prince, Haiti on October 14, 1982. Growing up in Haiti he loved to play soccer, eat paté kode, and hang out around the neighborhood of Martissant where he grew up. He attended Papillions Verts and Petit Séminaire Collège Saint Martial and always held a strong sense of pride for his school experience there and the lifelong friendships he created.
Roodny came to the United States in June of 1999. He attended West Roxbury high school, where he enjoyed playing basketball and participating in programs like Upward Bound. For the last several years he worked as a Carmen technician at Amtrak. In 2008, Roodny met the love of his life Stephanie. They were married eight years later and had one beautiful daughter together, Amara.
He lived by the code “always do right by others.” Roodny always had a smile on his face. He could find the good in anything, even the worst situations. His interests included all things cars, movies, seafood, traveling, real estate, researching stocks and most importantly spending time with his family and friends.
