On May 15, 1957 Mary Dean-Anderson was born to the late Lorine and Oliver Dean in Senatobia, MS. Mary relocated to Boston Ma. In 1981. Joining the Roxbury neighborhood where she laid roots for her family.
Mary found love with her late husband Neil (Buster) Anderson, together they raised 4 Children Katina, Patrice, Carl, and Derek. Mary work as a Home Health Aid for many years, Mary also worked at the Epilepsy Foundation, Bank of Boston and the City of Boston as a Bus Monitor.
Mary loved to cook and entertain for her family, she was known for her cornbread stuffing, Onion Chicken and Fried Chicken. Mary also had a quick wit and a crazy sense of humor. She was bound to say something to make the crowd erupt into laughter.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Lorine and Oliver Dean, Grandmother, Ball Street, Husband Neil (Buster) Anderson.
Sadly, June 4th , Mary departed us, she leaves to cherish her memory Children-Katina, Patrice, Carl, Derek. Mary also leaves behind 6 Grandchildren Shaliyah, Aniyah, Marquis, Savyon, Jasmine, and Derek Jr. 2 Great Grandchildren Alani, Ayden, 2 daughters in the spirit Tawonya, Marcelle. Last but not least Mary leaves 9 Siblings L.B Dean, Chester Wooten, Thomas Wooten, Robert Dean, Deric Dean, Sarah Worles (James) Murry Black (Sanders) Ollie Mae McCatcay Susan Wilbourn and a host of Nephews, Nieces, extended Family, Friends and In-laws.
