Dana Antonio Hill was born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 15, 1979, to the late Daniel S. Hill and Ruth N. Hampton, both of Mattapan.
Dana grew up with the Hampton Family, with his dear grandmother, the late Margaret L. Hampton on Wellington Hill. He attended Boston Public Schools and later earned certificates in culinary arts. He worked as a Sous Chef for many years in Boston area restaurants and in the corporate culinary industry. He was proud of his cooking and presentation of his fine dishes, especially his sauces and various styles of chicken wings.
Dana is the father of one child. A beautiful baby boy born on March 3, 1999, who he named Daniel A. Hill after his beloved father.
Dana enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially basketball and football. He was a “Jordan” Fan. He also loved and cared for dogs.
He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel S. Hill, his grandparents, Lincoln Sr. and Margaret L. Hampton, and Norman Sr. and Barbara A. Hill.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth N. Hampton, and his son, Daniel A. Hill as well as a host of family and friends, who all love and will remember him very dearly.
