Antwan Jordan Grant-Poole was born on May 31,1999 in Boston , Massachusetts at 4:26pm. He is the youngest son of Innell “Delfina “ Grant and Avery Ortiz Poole Sr.
Antwan loved to cook. Ever since he was a child, he was always in the kitchen. Whether you were coming in the house or leaving out, he was cooking a dish , especially French fries. From a very young age, he was not a fan of school. Antwan's creativity and brilliance, would often be mistaken as “not interested or lazy", but that wasn’t the case at all.
Antwan dreams were to go to to Europe and experience culture and cuisine. His vision was made reality when he enrolled in culinary school. With all of his effort, he succeeded at finishing strong. Antwan began to take the world by storm, with his culinary certification in hand. He went on to take odd jobs until landing a prestigious position, working as a sous chef in a 4.5 star restaurant known as Tiger Mama.
Antwan's love for art expanded beyond the culinary field and into music. Though he had no desire to actually produce music himself, he would often find himself indulged in the genre of UK hip hop, infamously known as Grime music. At his best, Antwan was comedic, often reciting to family that he could "be sexy", which would result in laughter and bliss. His smile could light up a room. Without even trying, his presence alone brought about light and joy. He will be truly missed.
Antwan leaves to cherish in his memory his Parents: Innell Grant & Avery O. Poole Sr. & His Grandmother, Nancy-Lee Grant. His Siblings: Eric Raymond Grant, Daniel Marquis Grant, Avery Ortiz Grant-Poole, Jr., D'Andre Luis Grant-Poole, Destiny Kiara Grant-Poole, Armand Ortiz Powell, Avante Amaru Powell-Poole; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Antwan is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Frances Poole and his cousins: Jalonnie L. Heath, Keivan B. Heath and De'avante James "DJ" Mulder Grant with whom he will be laid to rest.
