Milagros Perez

Carmen “Milagros” Perez, 62, of Dorchester passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019. She was born on June 10, 1956 in Gurabo, Puerto Rico to parents Isidra “Carmen Julia” Baez and Isabelo “Piro” Perez.

Milagros was loved by everyone who meet her; she was the favorite aunt to all the nieces and nephews. She always had to make a fashion statement by wearing her mini skirts, sunglasses, designer bags, and head accessories. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family during the holidays, at parties and gatherings. Her favorite past time was playing the daily lottery and getting scratch tickets. She adored her dog, Chicharito.

Milagros is survived by her loving son, Luis “Pito” Pizarro; three grandchildren, Benjamin Pizarro, Eli Pizarro and Ayana Unique Pizarro; brother, Jorge “Papo” (Monin) Sanchez; seven sisters, Migdalia Ramirez, Hilda “Tita” Perez, Julia Haydee (Moises) Torres, Evelyn Perez, Luz Delia Perez, Iris Perez and Sandra Perez; 35 nieces and nephews; 84 great nieces and nephews; 21 great-great nieces and nephews; and many relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carmen Julia and Piro; younger brother, Alberto; niece, Yari and nephew, Ricki; and dearly loved dog, Sugar.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carmen "Milagros" Pérez, de 62 años y residente de Dorchester, falleció el jueves 14 de marzo de 2019. Nació el 10 de junio de 1956 en Gurabo, Puerto Rico, de padres Isidra "Carmen Julia" Báez e Isabelo "Piro" Pérez.

Milagros era amada por todos los que la conocían; Ella era la tía favorita de todas sus sobrinas y sobrinos. Ella siempre tenía que hacer una declaración de moda usando sus minifaldas, lentes de sol, bolsos de diseñador y accesorios para la cabeza. Le gustaba cocinar y pasar tiempo con la familia durante los dias de fiesta, en las fiestas familiares y reuniones. Su pasatiempo favorito era jugar a la lotería diariamente y boletos para rascar. Ella adoraba a su perrito, Chicharito.

Milagros le sobreviven su querido hijo, Luis "Pito" Pizarro; tres nietos, Benjamin Pizarro, Eli Pizarro y Ayana Unique Pizarro; hermano, Jorge “Papo” (Monín) Sánchez; siete hermanas, Migdalia Ramírez, Hilda "Tita" Pérez, Julia Haydee (Moisés) Torres, Evelyn Pérez, Luz Delia Pérez, Iris Pérez y Sandra Pérez; 35 sobrinas y sobrinos; 84 bis-sobrinos y bi-sobrinas; 21 tatara sobrinas y tatara sobrinos; y muchos familiares y amigos.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Carmen Julia y Piro; hermano menor, Alberto; sobrina, Yari y sobrino, Ricki; y su perrita muy querida, Sugar.

Ella será extrañada por todos los que la conocieron y la amaron.
