Veronica Ellis-Hendricks was born on September 23, 1963 in St. Andrew, Jamaica. Daughter of Violet Christie and Sylvester Ellis (Deceased)
Veronica migrated to the United States with her sisters Patricia Ellis, Paula Ellis and one and only brother Neufield (Mark) Ellis.
Veronica went to Jeremiah E. Burke high school after graduation she worked at Lexington Health Care System from 1982
until her late thirties. While working she succumbed to illness that required her to retire at an early age.
Cecile as she was affectionately called by her family and friends; she will be remembered as loving, thoughtful,
caring, always remembering those special occasions in the lives of her family and friends.
Veronica enjoyed traveling, shopping, cooking and spending time with her family. She is the person who always ready to celebrate special occasions; birthday, Christmas, thanksgiving, mother day or 4th of July. She always looked forward to planning something. If something went wrong you will know because she will speaker her mind. Cecile is not a talker and she is very humble. Her favorite place to travel was her hometown of Kingston Jamaica.
Cecile lived a quiet yet peaceful life. All who encounter her presence loved her.
Veronica leaves to cherish the wonderful life she lived by her brother and sisters: Neufield (Mark) Ellis, his wife Nordia Ellis of Dorchester, MA; Patricia (Pat) Ellis and Paula Ellis of Snellville, GA; Teika Ellis of Dorchester, MA. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews: Ashley, Akeilia and Anicia of Dorchester, MA; Alexander and Alton of Snellville GA. Aunt: Dorothy, Lina, Girlie and Beverly St. Andrew, Jamaica; Lettie of Canada, Vivienne and Verona of Silver Spring, MD; Diana of Washington D.C.; Jennifer of Coral Springs, FL and Sheron of Miami, FL; Uncle: Altimon of Worcester, MA, Roy of Lake Land, FL, Sybert of London England; Justin of St. Mary, Jamaica; Cousins: Richie of Dorchester; Howard of Florida; Derrick, Marva, Anne, Debbie, Garrett, Patrick of Jamaica; Tammy of Baltimore; Roneika, Trudy Ann, Delano (Martin) and Ronrico of Silver Spring, MD. Her life-long friend Brenda Thornton. This is a short list of many family, friends and love ones and there are numerous other that are not listed mentioned
