Chyrl Anne Brewington was born in Boston, MA, on the 30th day of June in 1949, to the late Norma Jean Williams-Bridges and Floyd A. Williams, Jr. Her childhood was one of life’s journeys that she loved sharing with her older brother, Floyd & her younger sister, Indy.
Chyrl received her early education within the Boston Public School System where she met her helpmate while attending Junior Ward Howell Elementary. Chryl held the qualities to complete her education will courting, therefore she graduated from the Patrick T. Campbell School, now known as the Martin Luther King High School and went on to obtain her associates degree.
On December 4th 1965, Chyrl married Glenn L. Brewington, Sr. Through this union they were blessed with four sons: Boyd, Glenn, Troy and Jeff. “Because Two People Fell in Love”, they built a tremendous family ~ Their Legacy. From Grands to Great-Grands to her Great, Great-Grands!
She was known to all her loved ones as “Muffy”.
Chyrl & “Larry”, as she called him, built their life in Roxbury and resided in the Fountain Hill community, which she truly loved being a part of - it was her village. Anyone who knew her could see that she loved her family unconditionally, she was an extraordinary Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Friend.
In her free time, she indulged in various activities such as crafting, sewing, cooking, baking, and gardening. She also loved to travel with her family, enjoying beautiful beaches, cruises, relaxing in the sun, and always finding a way to get a flawless tan. BUT most of all, she loved her Family. She looked forward to the summer and trips to Martha’s Vineyard. “Muffy” cherished the holiday gatherings where she would be surrounded the never-ending love of her family. “Muffy’s” house was a refuge from the problems of the world.
It was a place to grow, to learn and to be Loved. It was a Home.
Chyrl leaves to cherish in her memory her beloved Husband, Glenn L. Brewington, Sr.

Her Chyrl devoted Siblings: Floyd & Cynthia Williams and Dr. Indy J. Williams & Antonio J. Delgado, Jr. She was additionally blessed to have married into a family of loving siblings within the Brewington Family, whom will miss her dearly.
“Muffy” will be remember by all Her Loving Grandchildren: Jaleelah L. Brewington, Najee S. Brewington, Giovanni D. Brewington, Mia I. Brewington, Eboni A. Brewington, Jeff C. Brewington, Jr., Michael V. Mathis, Jr., Aaron A. Morgan- Brewington, Aaliyah N. Morgan- Brewington, Jada A. Brewington, Jenia G. Brewington, Zaria A. Brewington, Jaden A. Brewington, Michayla T. Mathis, Andrea Brewington, Troy E. Brewington, Jr., and Adonis Z. Brewington
And lastly Chyrl’s Great Grandchildren: Jamarri A. Brewington, Jacoree D. Brewington, Jumai. D. Brewington, Aubrey A. Brewington, Caiden G. Brewington, Xavier D. Brewington, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Relatives & Friends.
