Victor Sylvester Jones was born on January 31, 1941 in Bridgetown, Barbados, to the late Leonard St. Alban and Ruby Emelda Miller Jones.Victor departed this life on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, following a brief illness.

He was proceeded in death by both parents, his sister, Dr. Funmilayo Jones and his brother, Anderson Jones, Sr.

Victor leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Shalinda Annette Trevillion (Charles) Williams; a granddaughter, Rachel Annette Jones; two sisters, Judy Annette Jones and Dr. Cheryl Elaine Jones (Bobby) Goliday; a brother, Austin Jones; three nephews, Anderson Jones, Jr. , Jonathon Jones and Bobby Goliday, Jr.; two nieces, Tamika Nicole (Ayodimeji) Olaoye and LaToya Monique (Justin)Tuggle along with a host of other relatives and friends.
