Peter Louis Walker was born in Selma Alabama on April 3, 1950. He was one of seven children born to Andrew and Ella Walker. Peter attended Brantley High School in Selma Alabama and in 1967 he moved to Boston MA. He had many jobs over the years. He was employed by Carroll Bus Company, Lord Jeffs Meat Market and Roxbury Community College. Peter had a passion for driving trucks and teaching others how to drive. Peter also managed Janitorial staff for a living.
In 2017 Peter's health problems led him to an early retirement from Roxbury Community College where he worked as the Maintenance Supervisor.
Peter loved to drive and it is said that he was knee high when he started driving tractors to help out on the family farm. He loved taking road trips to the South to visit family. He took great pride in helping others. He was a jack of all trades. He loved doing carpentry work and fixing cars. Peter was a strong, honest and caring person. He was funny, generous and kind to everyone and all who met him loved him.
He leaves behind his wife Linda Walker, Daughters Mekisha Jones (Cornelius Jones) Monique Duggan (Richard Duggan) Grandchildren Jamari, Bobby, Jaquarii, Aneesa, Paul Jr III, Cornell and Sean all from Boston MA as well as two brothers, Freddie Walker of Boston MA and Robert Berry (Cheryl Berry) of Selma Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
Peter was preceded in death by his Mother Ella Walker, Father Andrew Walker, Sister Mary Isaac, Brothers Andrew Walker, James Walker, Junior Berry and his son Paul Roberson II.
He will surely be missed and will be forever in our hearts.
