Patricia Ann Kelley Pina Cohen

Patricia “Trisha” Ann Pina-Cohen, formerly Patricia Kelley, passed away on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 at Massachusetts General Hospital. Patricia was born in Boston, MA on September 25th, 1963 to Myra Freeman (Moses) and Raymond Kelley. Patricia, a life-long Boston resident, cared deeply about children and education, and upon obtaining her GED, she earned her Associates Degree from Bunker Hill Community College. Patricia worked for over 15 years as a Kindergarten and Preschool teacher at Agassiz Baldwin Community in Cambridge, MA, and ABCD Head Start at Gertrude E. Townsend in Boston, MA. She also enjoyed dancing to music, cooking, and her favorite color was blue. Patricia is survived by her children Francis Patrick Pina (35) and Kenese Allison Cohen (21). Both children come from her previous marriages to Francisco Pina (1986) and Kenny Cohen (1999) respectively. Patricia is also survived by her twin brother Patrick Kelley. Brothers: Donnell Kelley, Rico Kelley, and Joseph Kelley. Sisters: Veronica Lisenby and Roxie Kelley. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to “Donors Choose” to support educators with materials needed in the classroom or to the “Lupus Foundation of America”.
