Octaviano "Pancho" Alves

Octaviano Alves, "Pancho" as we call him, was born on September 11th 1934 in Fogo, Cabo Verde to Romana Gomes and Antonio Alves. He was the twin brother of the late Otavio Alves and younger brother to the late Jose Alves. Octaviano was a man of faith, loving husband, father and friend.

Octaviano was hardworking, a jokester and family man.He enjoyed playing cards, Orin and sitting outside and hand holding.  Although he suffered years of sickness, he was a strong man and fought until the end.

He is survived by his wife, five children, ten grandchildren and seventeen grandchildren; including Isaiah whom he referred to as his Kode.

Octaviano will be remembered for his sweet smile, joking ways and loving presence.
