Bob was born May 13, 1938 in New Bedford, MA. He was the son of Theodor and Alice Santos. He is survived by one son Byron Santos of Boston, several nieces and nephews, and one granddaughter, Mai-Ling, daughter of deceased stepson Rodney Gonsalves.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, his wife Elsie Santos, and sister Marie Monterio.

Bob retired from The Boston Herald where he worked for many years. He was a dog lover, baseball fan, and a proud veteran.

on Saturday, January 20. Funeral service from 10 AM to 12 noon. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery following the funeral service.
