Marie Bowra

Marie Louise Bowra was called home from this life on May 25,2024. She was born on January 12, 1951 to the late David Bowra and Eldora (Buchanan) Bowra. Marie attended the Boston Public Schools. Marie graduated from Girls High School, Roxbury, Massachusetts. 

 After graduation, Marie went to work for Bank of America (formerly First National Bank). Marie left the bank and went to work for Lowell and Blake Associates of Boston, Massachusetts.

Marie loved word puzzles. When Marie was on her last word puzzlebook, she would call her sister-in-law Pamela Graham to say "Sis, I need more word puzzle books".

 Marie was a kindhearted person, who never complained about anything, not even during her illness. She was preceded in death her brothers Samuel Graham, Richard Graham, Robert Graham, Darrell Bowra and sister Christine Graham.

She leaves to mourn sister-in-law Pamela Graham and good friend Patricia Haley and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family of Marie L. Bowra wishes to express our deepest appreciation for the condolences, love, support and other expressions of sympathy during this time of great loss.
