Keith Dwayne Ward

October 28, 1966 — October 24, 2024

Keith Dwayne Ward, son of Liz Kelley and Jessie Ward, born on October 28, 1966 in Boston, MA, departed this life on October 24, 2024.

He received his G.E.D. in Roxbury, MA and attended schools in Athens, GA where he made many friends and started a dance group.

Keith had many jobs, including his first job at the candy store at Glenway Market, the Best Western Hotel, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he was Head Chef for several years. He also worked in Security and at the Car Auction.

Keith was a jack-of-all-trades. He loved all genres of music, and you could find him rapping like Kurtis Blow or singing R&B in falsetto. He was also an amazing break dancer, a great cook, a sharp dresser, and could fix anything like MacGyver. He would also transform into Bruce Lee after watching Bruce Lee movies. He loved to crack jokes and had an amazing sense of humor. Most of all, reading and meditating were his favorite pastimes.

Keith had a loving, carefree spirit. He was a cool, laid-back guy who would do anything for anyone who needed his help. Keith was loved by everyone who had the opportunity to know him. Keith loved his family, especially his children, and he strived to be the best father he could be. He was a loving and devoted son, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and the Best Big Brother ever! He was a warrior for sure!

The life and memory of Keith Dwayne Ward shall long be remembered by his loved ones, including his parents: Liz Kelley and Jessie Ward; his loving children: Jovunnie, Zikeem, Tanasha, deceased stepson Dashawn, Denzell, and Kendra; his siblings: Kenny, Tahisha, Marc, Gloria, Thomas a.k.a.
