It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kareem Elijah DaVeiga Booth, who was born on November 5, 2004, and was tragically taken from us on January 21, 2025, at the age of 20. Kareem was a beacon of love and kindness, a young man whose pure soul and selfless nature touched everyone he met.
Kareem graduated from Brighton High School in 2023 and soon after joined the workforce as a warehouse associate. He was a devoted caretaker for his younger brothers, watching over them and raising them while his mother went to work. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.
Kareem leaves behind his parents, Jada Nair DaVeiga and Darnell Kareem Booth, who loved him deeply and would have done anything for him. Their bond with Kareem was unbreakable, and their love for him knew no bounds. He also leaves behind his younger brothers, K'cyn King DaVeiga Andrade, Ky'mani Kash DaVeiga Andrade, Darnell Booth Jr., Asher Booth, and Amal Booth, with another sibling on the way. Additionally, he leaves behind a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmothers, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Kareem was loved by many and touched the hearts of countless people throughout his short life. His loving smile, kind demeanor, and strong bonds with his family and friends will be remembered by all who knew him. Kareem's calm spirit and the joy he brought to those around him will never be forgotten.
Though Kareem was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his baby, he will not be here to share in this new blessing. However, his spirit will live on through his child, and his legacy of love and kindness will continue to shine brightly. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
Kareem will join his grandfathers, Antonio Cabral and Manuel DaVeiga, and his uncles, Marvin Veiga and Manuel Veiga Jr., in eternal rest.
May his legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family live on in our hearts forever.
