Jomane O. Hutchinson, 51, of Dorchester, Massachusetts passed away on November 4th, 2024.
Jomane Othniel Hutchinson, affectionately called O’Neil, was born in Kingston, Jamaica, on April 19th, 1973, to parents Alton E. Hutchinson and Angella A. Levy. He was the first child/son of both parents. O’Neil received his formal education at Dupont Primary School, Tarrant Primary School, Holy Trinity High School in Jamaica, and NETTTS CDL Driving School, USA. While in Jamaica, he worked as a truck/tractor driver. Once in the US, after his CDL licensing completion, he worked as a trailer driver, traveling across the United States for many years until he decided to slow down and be closer to home for his children.
O’Neil migrated to the United States in 2008 and settled in Dorchester, Massachusetts. He married Marie Depina. He had three children: son Jomane Hutchinson from a previous relationship in Jamaica and two (2) daughters, Lathania and Jomeilia Hutchinson, with Marie Depina. O’Neil’s unexpected passing comes as a shock to his family, friends, and loved ones, who are still reeling at his loss.
Though he was never in the military, he lived a diplomatic and militant life; he loved things a particular way. A perfect example of his meticulous spirit is how he talked about his kids; they are his life, and that’s why he works so hard. He also talked about how he maintained his car, bike, and Peterbilt (trailer). He had so much ahead of him, and he was taken too soon, but who are we to question God on his tragic passing? He passed doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle (bike).
O’Neil leaves to mourn his passing wife - Marie Depina. Children: – son Jomane Hutchinson, daughters Lathania, and Jomeilia Hutchinson. Father: Alton Hutchinson and Mother: Angella Levy. Grandmother: Rebecca Haughton. Brothers: Leeroy and Theodore (Junior). Sisters: Kimeta (Nancy), Camille, Monique (Bella). Nieces: Yulan, Ashley, Naima, Jada, Lashanique (Tallia), and Skylar. Nephews: Zion and Antonio (Ne-yo). Granddaughter: Katalina Hutchinson. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Beloved Friends
