David Vincent Fisher was born on December 10, 1963, to Robert Sr. and Edna Fisher. He was the youngest of four sons, following Robert Jr., Dennis, and Stephen. Affectionately known as "Davey" to his loved ones and family, he graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1981.
David enjoyed watching television, visiting Newport Beach, dining at the Clam Box in Quincy, MA, and eating out in general. He was an avid fan of Jazz Fusion, Disco, and Rock and Roll music. He also loved watching boxing, wrestling, mixed martial arts, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as reading. In his youth, he played hockey with neighborhood friends and, like his father, had a deep love for swimming. He cherished long conversations with loved ones and attending family gatherings.
A born-again Christian, David's spiritual journey began at Union United Methodist Church during his youth. The Fisher family later joined Tremont Temple Baptist Church in Downtown Boston, where he continued to nurture his faith. He also enjoyed listening to Pastor Chuck R. Swindoll. Above all, David was a devoted caregiver to his mother, Edna Fisher, until she entered into the peace and joy of our Lord and Savior in 2008.
David is survived by his brothers, Dennis Fisher of Boston, MA, and Stephen Fisher of Hartford, CT. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Robert Fisher Sr., and his brother, Robert Fisher Jr. He is also survived by his nieces, Incia and Janay Fisher; his nephew, Kent Fisher; and his great-nephews, Ta’Miez and Jonasi Wyatt, all of Boston, MA. In addition, he leaves behind numerous cousins, extended family, and close friends across the country.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has come together to celebrate the life of our beloved David.
