Clodel Germain was born on January 21, 1956 in Hinche, Haiti, to Jacques Germain and Phoebe Germain.

Clodel graduated from UMass Boston with a B.A. in English. He then went on to start his career as a middle school teacher.

Clodel was best known for his love of music, soccer, poetry, painting and his home country, Haiti.

Clodel is survived by Valerie Fleury - daughter, Pascal Fleury-Germain - son, Sabine Fleury-Germain - daughter, Phoebe Germain - mother, Magguie Germain - sister, Teddy Germain - brother, Marcus Germain - brother, Reginald Germain - brother, Evans Germain - brother.
