Cherie Y Milton-Jackson of Boston, MA unexpectedly passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018.
She was born on February 7, 1966. Cherie “Candy” was a very beautiful, loving and caring person.
She was the youngest of six children born to Loretta Milton and the late James Milton
and the beloved wife of Dana Jackson for over 18 years.
Candy grew up in Boston, MA. She graduated from Jerimiah E. Burke, after high school she attended Mass Bay college and received countless certificates in human services and was an accredited Social Worker. She worked 12 years for Roxbury Tenants of Harvard Association, a non-profit housing and human service organization. She was dedicated to the people she worked with and went above and beyond to assist them. She really enjoyed her job and was loved by the people she served.
Candy touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity. She enjoyed the finer things in life and most people would consider her a fashion trend-setter with exquisite taste. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends, she was the life of the party. She was her children best friend and they meant the world to her, there was nothing that she would not do for them.
Candy is preceded in death by her father, James Milton and her brother, James Edward Milton.
Candy will forever be remembered by her children; Isaiah Milton (Diamond Lewis), Dana Cherie and (Daneisha), grandchildren; Zayden Milton and Bella Milton.
Her loving sisters; Wanda Milton, Tammy Milton, Loretta Milton (Fernandez Thames) and Alicia Milton, and cousins who were like sisters; Tameka Wilson, Irene Borum and specials friends who were like sisters; Latifa Smith and many many more.
Her mother in-law, Tony Jackson and the late Sammy Jackson. Aunts; Sara Hodo, Evelyn Rudolph and Doris Weddington. Uncle Nathen Milton. Her nieces and nephews; Nyeia Milton, Dajuan Milton, Ebony Milton, Domenique Milton, Resheema Milton, Hakeem Thames, Cordell Milton and Kareem Thames.
And a host of cousins’ other relatives and friends.
