Charles Price, Jr, age 64, of Boston, Massachusetts passed suddenly on Friday, April 20, 2018 at his home. Charles was born March 13, 1954 in Boston, Massachusetts. He is the son of Charles Price, Sr. and Christine (Williams) Price. Charles had also been blessed with two siblings: Allen and Cheryl.
Charles decided to join the United States AirForces in 1973. He honorably served this country for 10yrs; receiving medals such as AF Commentation Medal, National Defense Service Metal to names a few. These honors where also accompanied by multiple ribbons and awards.
As the years progressed, Charles, known to many as “Chucky”, moved into the civilian life. He became employed by the Boston Red Sox as a concessions' vendor in the Sweets café found in the stadium's luxurious Penthouse.
Charles is survived by his mother, Mrs. Christine Price of Boston, MA; his brother, Allen Price of Houston, TX and his sister, Cheryl Bogues of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
A Celebration of his life and legacy will be held at 4:30 pm on Sunday, April 29 from Peoples Baptist Church, 830 Tremont Street, Boston, MA. Services will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Wesley Roberts, Senior Pastor of People's Baptist Church. A Waking Period/Visitation will be held at 3:30AM also at the church. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 10:30AM in Mount Hope Cemetery.
