Carl Sisson, 73, passed away on November 4, in Boston MA at 6:24pm.
Carl Sisson was born on June 24, 1951, in New Orleans, LA, to his mother Yvonne Johnson.
During his life he has had many hats, he worked at a restaurant during his high school years, later; he worked in construction where he also learned to drive trucks, after his move to Boston he started his career as a Fire Fighter which he did until his early retirement due to an injury to his knee which left him using a cane, he also moonlighted as a School Bus Driver which after his retirement became his main occupation lasting for over 30 years.
Carl Sisson was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He always kept a smile on his face, no matter the situation. If you knew Carl on a personal level, you'd know he had a joke for everything. he was loved by those around him and always available to lend an ear and advice. he loved to go bike riding, fishing, barbecuing, his famous Friday afternoon hangouts in the basement, loved to dj, plan trips with the grandkids, and so much more. We will never forget his famous gumbo, pancakes, grits, and his extreme love of bacon. Which earned him the nick name Master Willie. He loved to participate in Mardi Gras and carnival. He had many friends From New Orleans to New York, Trinidad and Boston, etc. He had always said in this he was the father of the children and the children’s children, and has had a immense impact on every life he has come into, he will be sorely missed by us all.
Carl is survived by his devoted and loving wife June Sisson, Sisters Brenda Sisson and Pamela Sisson-Singleton, Brother Kevin (Marcelle) Sisson. Daughters Tashiba, Mechelle, Alicia, Trisha; Son Carl Jr; Nephew Kiel and many others; Grand-children Gennaia, Lindon, Jacob, Keanna, Shaunte, Tychi, Mechelle, Alesha, Alyssa, Maya, Malachi, Augustus and many(5x) great grandchildren.
Carl is Preceded in death by his Mother Yvonne Johnson, Brother Ira Sisson and, Brother Daryl Sisson
Special Thanks to his caregivers; Diana St Louis and Mechalia Depina who took care of him alongside his wife during this past year.
