Carl King

Carl George King was born February 7, 1956, 68 years of age, to Andrew Shield and Osie King. He was affectionately known as "Carl George". Carl resided in Quincy, MA for many years. He transitioned to his final rest on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Carl George was the beloved brother of Flora Cardwell, of Henrico, VA, brother-in-law, of Dr. Owen C. Cardwell, Jr, Virginia, brother of Derry King, Boston, MA, and Sherre King of Boston, MA. He was preceded in death by his brother the late Fred King and nephew Shonn V. Bailey. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Boston, MA, and grandnephews, Henrico, VA, and a host of family and friends.

Carl George enjoyed living his life to the fullest. He was a dedicated worker and was a former employee of the City of Boston, Parks and Recreation. He successfully obtained his CDL to become a truck driver which was one of his goals in life.

Carl George will be missed by his family and friends.
