Anthony Jerard Chambers departed this life quietly on January 6, 2025. His death comes as a shock to all. Anthony was born on July 1,1997, in Boston, MA. He was the loving son of Dorreth Chambers and Linval Chambers. Anthony was an adorable baby boy who grew up to be a handsome, strong, and hard-working man.
As a child, Anthony loved and enjoyed playing with his older siblings and cousins. He loved to give jokes and laugh; he was funny, loving and caring. His hugs were amazing and will be missed. Anthony was always willing to lend a hand, no questions asked and delivered each with a hug with his signature smirk.
Anthony was a devoted son, brother, uncle and cousin. He cherished the time he spent with his family, friends, and coworkers. He loved music but had a love-hate relationship with playing the violin. He was active, enjoyed playing sports and going to the gym. A natural born leader on the field, Anthony was awarded the Spirit of Sportsmanship during his high school career. We will always remember No. 77 and his passion for football. He valued the bond of brotherhood that he gained and remained close friends with several of his high school teammates.
Educated in Milton Public Schools, he then attended Blue Hills Regional Technical School. He pursued culinary arts at Johnson and Wales University, where he cultivated a lifelong passion for cooking. Anthony was celebrated for his culinary talents. During the holidays and special events Anthony used his gift to create elaborate meals for his loved ones. His specialties included lamb lollipops, lobster and steak with the most delicate bay scallops. True to his roots, Anthony mastered Jamaican cuisine in honor of his heritage and the country of his parents birth. This gift grounded him to to the community where he built lasting relationships with his coworkers and customers. Anthony was an avid gamer. He could be heard in the wee hours of the morning playing his video games. His cat, Reign, otherwise known as his shadow was his constant companion. Never known to pay attention to time, Anthony was always running late. His mom and sister had a running bet on how late he would be when leaving the house. With these fond memories Anthony's legacy of family, kindness, humor, and culinary excellence will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
Mourning this unimaginable loss, his parents Dorreth Chambers and Linval Chambers. His sisters, Kimberly, Jodi, Anika, Cashinna, and Zuri. His brothers, Njisane, Andre, Jonathan, and Alex. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins, close friends, coworkers, staff, and his customers in the community. Anthony Jerard Chambers will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. His warmth, humor, presence, conversation, and unwavering passion as a culinary chef will continue to inspire and guide his loved ones and friends.
