Roy Fitzgerald Attride was born on December 30, 1930 to Eugene and Ruby Attride in Kingston, Jamaica. He attended Franklin Town Primary School and upon finishing he went to trade as an electrician. He excelled as an electrician and was also responsible for electrical work done at the Kingston Public Hospital and Tropical Metal Products Ltd. He migrated to Boston, Mass in 1980 where he continued to excel in what he does best being an electrician working for Cambridge Plating Company in Belmont. Shortly after migrating to Boston he became ill and unfortunately his illness followed him for many years until his passing on September 28, 2017. He loved to go to the movies and wrestling and cook especially for his mother whom he adored. He also loved listening to Kenny Rogers amongst other artist. He was a supportive son to his mother, wife, children and siblings. He was always helping and looking out for his family best interest. He leaves behind his wife Claris, 10 children, Donovan, Marlene, Karen, Michelle, Marlon, Margera, Ansel, Cheryl, Dean, and Trudy. Angella, Claudine, Althea and Donna (nieces)whom he raised after losing his sister) and longtime friend Euphemia, brother Anthony, 44 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Roy, affectionately called Daddy was loved by all and will truly be missed. We will not be able to ask him to put away important documents, updates on the soap opera or latest on the WWE. He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Ruby, and siblings Herman, Norma and Maxine.
