WHERE WOULD I BE”
Huldah Pearl Johnson affectionately known as “Miss Pearl” was born to Edgerton Mendez and Etta Taylor on February 14, 1936, in the Parish of St. Mary, Jamaica, W.I.
Huldah, was a nurse at the Annotto Bay Hospital in St. Mary, Jamaica W.I. She migrated to the United States and continued her nursing career at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boston, MA until retirement. Huldah’s main interests were reading her bible, political advocacy, crocheting, cake decorating, and most of all she was compassionate and kind to everyone.
Huldah will be greatly missed by all.
Huldah is kept in remembrance by her seven children, Tony, Winsome, Victory, Marva, Adolph, Conroy and Bryan; two son-in laws, Willard (Mento) and Mark, and one daughter -in law, Kenya. She has seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. One Sister Merna and one brother, Guy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and church family members. Huldah was preceded in death by her husband Canute Johnson.
