Eddie R. Brown, Jr.

1964–2018

Eddie R. Brown, Jr. was born to Eddie R. Brown, Sr. and Evelina Brown (Maxwell) on December 11, 1964, in Boston, MA.  He was the third child and only son from their union.  He departed this life on October 15, 2018.

Eddie graduated from South Boston High School in 1983.

At the age of 16 Eddie began working in the family business, which was Callender Fuel, founded and operated by his dad.

He started out as a helper for the driver.  As he grew in age he began to take on more responsibilities such as repairing the trucks and delivering oil to customers in the Greater Boston area.  During his time as a driver he received his Commercial Driver’s License. As technology changed and the need for oil decreased his dad closed the business in 1995. Eddie went on to work for major companies in Massachusetts for the last 23 years. He was employed by James G. Grant Company, Inc., upon his death.

He was preceded by the death by his mom Evelina Brown in 1993. 

He leaves to mourn his parents Eddee R. Shakir (Eddie R. Brown, Sr.) and Dorothy Shakir (Miller). 

He leaves behind his daughters Amanda and Andrea Perryman. 

Ten siblings: Leroy Miller, Cynthia Brown, Lee Ann Gant (Miller), Melanie Daye (Brown), Dorothy Miller, Tina Miranda (Brown), Sonya Fuquay (Brown), Rosalind Brown, Elika Lomax (Brown), Nicole Fendersen-Perry, and Jameel Shakir. His girlfriend Kathy Faur.

He also leaves 2 nieces and 9 nephews, as well as a hosts of relatives and friends.
