It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Aaron McGregor-Wurie. Aaron’s introduction to the world was on April 18, 1989. On that day in Boston, Massachusetts, Aaron was born to parents, Khadi A. Wurie and Melvin McGregor. The world wasn’t ready for Aaron.
In 2005, Aaron moved to Florida from Massachusetts. He graduated from Boynton Beach Community High School in 2009. Seven years later, he returned to Boston, MA, where he remained until his death on August 15, 2021.
From a very young age and until his death, Aaron was a full of vitality, enthusiasm, and energy. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile and boisterous laughter. Aaron loved his family, friends, cars and God. He believed in the power of change and forgiveness. He was loving, likable, well-mannered and polite with a quick, witty remark on hand. His joviality and good nature attracted people. Everyone knew Aaron as a kindhearted person, a person that will take his shirt off his back for a stranger. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the opportunity to meet and know him.
He is survived by his mother, Khadi A. Wurie, father, Melvin McGregor and sister, Orianna Wurie. He is also survived by family including, but not limited to the Wurie, Rodney, and McGregor families.
